                                Location: Belmont, MI

                                Date Played: Sep. 2011

Clubhouse and Staff:  The pro shop is quite large with a wide selection of shoes, clubs, gloves, and apparel.  It is connected to a full service restaurant and bar area.  Friendly staff, including pro shop, a cart girl, and staff to clean clubs at the end of your round.

Course Conditions:  The fairways and tee boxes are in good shape.  The greens seem to be vastly improved in 2011 from previous years, rolling faster and smoother.

Playability:  Each 9 is completely different from the other.  The front 9 winds back through wooded areas, and has a variety of different holes, each independent from the next.  The back 9 is wide open and much easier.

Scenery:  The front 9 has some very scenic holes and nice houses.  The back 9 has essentially no scenic value.

Value:  Competitive rates with other similar courses in the area.

Overall Experience:  A fun course to play.  If you can make it through the front 9 without any big numbers, the back 9 is out for the taking.
