                                Location:  Boyne Mountain, MI

                                Date Played: Sep. 2011

Clubhouse and Staff:  Average sized clubhouse featuring a nice restaurant and great views on Deer Lake.

Course Conditions:  This course was well manicured throughout.  Nice fairways, fast greens, and perfect bunker.

Playability:  The course has a nice variety of tough, wooded holes, as well as more open holes with a view of the lake.

Scenery:  Once again, amazing views and extensive elevation changes.

Value: The best way to play his course is to include it in a “stay and play” package.  The price to play this course individually is quite expensive.

Overall Experience:  The Monument and The Alpine are both must-plays if you are in the Boyne area.  A very unique course that is a lot of fun to play.
