                                Thousand Oaks Golf Club

                                Location: Grand Rapids, MI

                                Date Played: Sep. 2011

Clubhouse and Staff:  Large, modern clubhouse includes a top notch restaurant and banquet facility.  Very nice indoor and outdoor driving range.

Course Conditions:  Fairways, greens, rough, and bunkers are in excellent shape.

Playability:  Thousand Oaks is tough, but playable.  Deep greenside bunkers and tree-lined fairways make it quite challenging.  There are also elevation changes throughout the course.

Scenery:  Absolutely beautiful scenery.  Rolling hills, huge trees, and nice houses highlight this landscape.

Value:  Probably the most expensive public golf course in West Michigan, but it is well worth the price..

Overall Experience:  A must play for any serious golfer in the area.  Extremely challenging and a lot of fun.
